“Give it to me,” Ivan purred. “I’m ready.”

I wanted to warn him he had no idea how close to the edge I was, how hard I could go, and how little it would take to pull me apart, but he’d reduced me to grunts and incoherent mumbling. I tried, though.

“I don’t think I should—”

“Do it,” he commanded, gripping my dick tightly as he circled his tongue once, twice, and took me in again.

My breath hitched, but I didn’t hesitate. I held his face and pumped my hips experimentally before letting go, fucking his mouth in a steady rhythm. And damn, he looked pretty on his knees, one hand on his cock, the other on my— Oh, wow. He pressed a finger on my entrance and tapped it like some kind of erotic Morse code.

That was the end of me.

“I’m gonna come,” I choked out.

Ivan didn’t reply. He swallowed everything I gave him and didn’t stop until I shivered and melted against the wall.

“You okay?” he asked, languidly rising to his feet, jacking his rigid dick.

I opened and closed my mouth, but I still couldn’t do words. So I switched positions with him and shoved my tongue between his lips. We kissed dirty and manic with absolutely zero finesse, but fuck, it was hot and it rocked me into a new gear.

I pulled my joggers up and got down on my knees, swatting his hand away. “My turn.”

“Oh, fuck. Oh…Court…oh.”

His nonsensical babble was music to my ears. I sucked and licked him in a semi sexed-out haze. I hadn’t begun to acknowledge that Ivan was no stranger and that should have been weird, but no…everything about him fit, from the weight and taste of his perfect dick on my tongue to the pervading smell of coffee and the look of wonder in his gorgeous blue eyes just before he gasped and shuddered.

He wrenched away, shooting his load on the apron he’d folded over his arm.

I was unsteady on my feet as I stood.

“Holy fuck. That was hot.” I pressed kisses behind his ear and along his neck.

“Yes…very hot.” He dropped the apron and shimmied into my arms.

We lost ourselves in deep kisses and low moans, finally parting with a sigh. Any hint of lingering after-sex awkwardness was noticeably absent as we washed up and righted our clothes.

I zipped my jacket, strategically brushing my fingers over his. “Can I walk you home?”

He smiled shyly and damn it, my heart flipped in my chest. “No, that’s okay. I have a few more things to do.”

“Okay. Um, I guess I’ll see you around.”

Ivan nodded. “Yeah.”

Fuck. I should go. I should stop staring at him. I shouldn’t compliment his dick or his mouth or his eyes.

“Hey, I wasn’t kidding about the taste-testing idea,” someone who sounded like me said out of the fucking blue. “Baked goods and coffee and tea or whatever. I’m not an expert, but I have…opinions.”

“Do you, now?” His lips curled in amusement as he moved in front of me to unlock the door.

I wasn’t sure if he was laughing at me or with me, but I really didn’t care as long as he kept smiling.

“Absolutely.” I pulled my cell from my pocket, opened my contacts, and handed it over. “Put your number in. I’ll call you so you’ll have mine too. Just in case.”

Ivan typed quickly and returned my phone. “Here you go.”

“Great. I should—” I hooked my thumb toward the street and almost fell on my ass when someone yanked the door from the other side.

“Oh, shit. I’m so sorry, Court!” Stacy yelped. “The shade was closed, but I could see the lights were on and I didn’t know if anyone was here or if Ivan forgot to turn them off or—sorry.”

“No worries. I’m fine.” I gestured at her belly, hoping to steer away from what the fuck I was doing at the coffee shop after hours. “Looks like the baby’s grown since the last time I saw you. How are you doing?”

“I’m fine,” she replied distractedly.

“Great. Awesome. I’m glad to hear that,” I fumbled. “Uh, good night.”

Ivan quirked a lopsided grin. “Good night, Court.”

My heart beat double time as I stepped outside, shivering in the autumn chill. The temperature had dipped and the sky was littered with stars. I gazed up at the heavens, soaking in the calming ambience, and wondering if I should have been at least a little bit freaked out by the surprise direction my day had taken, but…I wasn’t.

Not at all.

IVAN

“I can explain. He brought me a cookie and—” I narrowed my eyes and studied my friend’s red rimmed eyes. “Honey, are you okay?”

To my complete horror, Stacy burst into tears. “N-n-no!”

I jumped forward, tugged her inside and wrapped her in a gentle embrace. “Stace, what happened?”

“The doctor put me on bed rest. I have to go home and go to bed and not get up for two months,” she sobbed.
