Reed Kensington, on the other hand, needed help with the Arik Layne Properties account. International law was Alec’s thing…so lost in thought, it took maybe two full seconds for his brain to process the motorcycle blocking his driveway. Alec slammed on his brakes. Key’s head lifted, his chestnut eyebrows shooting up behind the mirrored aviators as the car came to an abrupt stop only inches from where Key sat. Alec’s heart sped up as the object of his current frustrations leaned casually against his bike, unknowingly disarming him with that slow creeping smile. Damn, that was the hottest thing he’d ever seen. Alec’s dick hardened in anticipation of whatever the biker might have in mind.
A mix of pure excitement and disbelief held him behind the wheel, staring at the stunning sight before him. Alec thanked his lucky stars as he put the car in first gear and turned off the engine. Key’s sunglasses hid anything his eyes might give away. Alec almost lost it at the way those biceps bulged when Key crossed his arms over his chest. His thighs, dear God, were thick, and the way he sat propped against the seat with his legs crossed at the ankle made heavy muscles even more pronounced in those well-fitting jeans. Alec’s hand itched to reach out and test their firmness. Maybe he wouldn’t have to swipe right after all.
Alec slowly got out of the car, hoping Key didn’t notice how he’d had to adjust his aching dick inside his slacks before shutting the door. “You went to the dealership?”
Alec kept his focus locked on the biker. Key said nothing. Alec guessed that might have been a dumb question, so he asked the one he really wanted the answer to. “So, you here to collect?”
Maybe three feet separated him from Key who remained absolutely quiet but continued watching Alec as closely as Alec watched him. A smirk danced on those sexy lips, and Alec’s stomach filled with butterflies. He could feel the energy charging around them, drawing them together like magnets.
God, this guy was hot as hell and intriguing as fuck. He liked having Key’s attention on him, which sent another kind of sensation washing over him. Awareness. Key watched him like a wild cat watched its prey. The intensity moved up his body and heated his skin. They stayed just like that for several long seconds until Alec broke the spell. Either Key was a man of few words or he was intentionally trying to intimidate him. Wasn’t working. In fact, Alec found it more arousing than threatening.
“You don’t say too much, do you?”
“This is a bad idea.” The deep, rich voice dripped down his spine like a welcome summer rain. Alec recognized the significant moment. They’d been dancing around the edge since they’d first met. The attraction had been immediate. Besides, he hadn’t felt this at ease with a decision in a very long time. Sure, it was a bad idea, but those were usually the most rewarding—when they worked.
“Most certainly,” he replied with a nod.
Key removed the sunglasses from that handsome face then pushed away from the motorcycle and stood in front of him, hands braced on narrow hips.
Instead of rubbing himself all over the man, or begging and pleading, promising anything to make sure this thing between them happened tonight, Alec maintained eye contact as he took a step toward his door, moving away from the sexy biker. “Since you’re here, why don’t you come on inside?”
Key said nothing, but for every two of his steps, Key took one. The air around Alec crackled and excited him with the predatory way Key stalked after him. He stuck a finger inside the knotted material at his neck, loosening the silk tie while reaching for the top button of his dress shirt. “I didn’t think you’d show. So, I’m not sure if the house is clean or not…”
“Fuck, you’re sexy.” Key’s drawled out words licked at his balls.
His dick turned so damn hard it strained boldly against his slacks. Hell yeah, this was going to happen. He almost dropped his pants right then and there, screw making it inside the house. More than anything, he wanted Key in his bed, wanted to lock him up and keep him until Alec was good and done with him. At this rate, with all his lusting, it might take days to get his fill.
“I’ve got some beer—”
“I’m not thirsty.” In two long strides, the biker was on him. Making his knees weak with the heat and intensity surrounding him. Key slid his hand up the back of Alec’s neck and his large palm cradled the back of Alec’s head, drawing him against a hard, muscular chest. Even before his eager hands could touch Key, those full, fleshy lips captured his. Key’s tongue swept forward, demanding entrance. Alec could only oblige.
