“Why in the world…?” I cut off her question with a look. She must see something in my eyes because she slides out of the bed and walks into the restroom. The shirt she is wearing slips up a bit and I realize she is not wearing underwear.
“Shit,” I hiss. I can’t tear my eyes from her ass and the thighs hiding that split I want to get into. As soon as the bathroom door closes, I face plant on the spot her ass would have slept on and inhale like fucking junkie getting a line after forty days and nights. “Christ.” I growl into the sheets that smell like a fruit parfait. I grip my balls and squeeze my eyes shut. Finally when the throbbing has calmed down I walk out the room.
Once again I find myself pacing back and forth but in the kitchen this time waiting for her to come down. I check my pockets for the hundredth time making sure I have the rings. When I am at my wits end and about to march upstairs to drag her out, I see her beautiful face. “I-I don’t know what’s happening so I just brushed my hair. Should I…”
“No!” I tell her not wanting to give her another second. “You look exquisite. Come here.” She walks further into the room. The ways he listens to me makes me feel ten feet tall. “Let’s put your coat on.” I slide her coat over her shoulders followed by a scarf. Dropping down to my knees, I slid her light gray Uggs we just brought her onto her feet before standing. I pull her into my arms and place a chaste kiss on her lips. “Do you trust me, little bunny?” Her eyes have hundreds of questions in them but see hope hidden behind them.
“I don’t know why but yes. I do.” Thank fuck for that because I dodged a bullet the last few days but kidnapping is not to far off from what I am willing to do to have this girl. Nodding, I grab her hand and pull her from the house. In the truck we make the five minute drive to the Mayor's house. I leave her in the truck and ring Lloyd’s doorbell. I swear I feel like a child waiting on Santa. I am tempted to ring his bell over and over until he answers. The only thing stopping me is his wife is heavily pregnant.
“What the hell, Harlan? What is the meaning of this?” he asks, buttoning his robe.
“I am sorry to wake you Mayor, but I need a witness to my marriage.” He pauses for a moment looking at me like I have lost my mind.
“Are you serious? You found someone not matched? You know that is not how we do things. If she didn’t complete the ad…”
“She did. You told me so.”
“I told you…tell me you are not talking about the young lady who lied about her age?”
“The very same. I caught her stealing from my store and offered to help her.” He scoffs and crosses his arms.
“Help her out of her clothes?” I start to see red at how cheap he makes it all sound but I remember to control myself. I do need him after all.
“She was underage until an hour ago, asshole.” Walking closer to him I tell him the only thing I know will work. “She is the one, Lloyd. I feel it.” He looks at me shocked before sighing and nodding his head.
“Fine. Rachel and I will meet you there. You are in charge of waking up Alton.” Well shit.
Back in the car headed for the church, I take a quick glance and see her fidgeting in her seat. I place my hand on hers and rub circles around it. “Are you going to tell me what is going on?” she whispers. I should answer her, I know but all of my control is built into the grip I have on the steering wheel. If I start telling her exactly what is on my mind, fuck all else. She will be sliding down my cock in seconds, so instead I say nothing but don’t remove my hand from hers.
We pull up to the house on the side of the church and I see his office light on. “Thank fuck.” I growl getting out of the car. Walking around to her side, I help her out and tuck her arms into mine.
“Why are we at the church?” I know she is figuring it out because she has a death grip on my arm. Before I can answer her, the door opens.
“Well, I thought Lloyd was lying when he called me. Hello young lady,” he says, holding out his hand to shake hers.
“Hi,” she says, scooting closer to me. The tiny gesture warms my heart.
