“I love you, Titan,” I whisper against his lips. He pulls back and places a kiss on my forehead. I force my eyes to open when he pulls away.
“And I love you, Faith. If it wasn’t time for the babies to be up and causing chaos, I’d show you.”
“There’s always tonight,” I suggest with a grin. He returns it, his eyes sparkling.
“Definitely tonight, baby.”
“Have I told you how much I adore being married to you, Titan?”
“You may have, but you pulled some shit today not calling me, so I’m thinking you better be saying it a lot. For the record, I don’t care what the reason is. If you break so much as a fingernail, I want to know, woman. Understand?”
“Understood, Big Daddy. Understood.”
“Good, now let’s go check on our girls.”
He takes my hand and I follow him down the hall. If you had told me the morning I woke up married to Titan that I’d be living the life I have now, I would have called you a liar. I wouldn’t have thought this was possible in a million years—or that I would be this happy.
But damn, am I grateful.
