The men were working long hours for several months, but now that they’ve hired more staff, there’s time for us to do more things together. Most of our time lately has revolved around setting ourselves up in this new house, but we go on dates regularly, and when I visit my sister, the guys spend time together restoring another classic car they bought.
“Imagine the temptation,” I repeat, licking caramel from my lip after another sip of hot chocolate. “Maybe it is best if I keep working at the club.”
The truth is that one of the main reasons I love working at Club Red is because it’s where I met Colin, Owen, Jordan, and Zane, and without Club Red, there would be no us.
Memories of Club Red on Tour, even though it was only a one-time thing for the five of us, make me happy, and I have to laugh when I think about how much I disliked all of them in the beginning.
Now, I realize that the fire that made me think we were enemies is the same fire that fuels our relationship. We challenge each other, but I never doubt the love and respect they have for me, and I hope they never doubt the way I feel about them.
It’s also funny for me to recall what a man hater I used to be, when now, the people I love most in the world are the four wonderful men who are sitting beside me.
