He drilled his dick into Zane over and over, biting the sensitive spot in the crook of Zane’s neck, ready to devour him whole as the rhythmic slapping of their bodies turned into music.

Zane arched under him, all four limbs tightening around Roach as if he were hanging above a cliff and Roach were the single thing keeping him from falling. “Yes… fuck. There. Oh, God,” he moaned, shaken by little tremors just as Roach sensed heat at the base of his spine. They were getting close.

Roach quickened his pace, grunting in excitement, and ready to prove what a stud he was, that if only Zane said the word, Roach would pleasure him as many times as he needed. He looked up at Zane’s flushed face to make sure he captured the moment Zane came.

He rutted like a wild beast, with no inhibitions left, and knew his hunger could only be quenched one way. He wasn’t sure if he heard Zane’s moan of release first, or if it happened once his own dick pulsed, releasing cum inside his lover’s greedy body, but his head spun, and the fresh burns on his skin didn’t even hurt anymore. His final thrusts were hard but lazy, and he enjoyed the sensation of hot spunk dripping from his stomach as he watched Zane’s lips trembling, eyelids fluttering, and his hair in a mess.

The storm broke over them in rapid waves, sending electricity down their limbs, but once it passed, Zane’s legs flopped to the sides, and he tried to catch his breath, rolling his head over the pillow of his own hair. Somehow, he was even more beautiful now, as if the way he’d opened up tonight uncovered things Roach hadn’t yet known about him.

Time didn’t matter as they caught their breaths, hugging tightly in damp sheets.

Zane licked his lips. "Okay. You can fuck me until I kill you."

Roach kissed Zane’s cheek, pushing his hand between their bodies to swirl cum over Zane’s stomach. “Not if I kill you first.”

That was it for some time, and Roach might have dozed off, lulled to sleep by the afterglow, but when he opened his eyes again, Zane was watching him, so Roach gave him a kiss. “I’m sorry I burned you.”

Zane sighed and tugged on Roach’s beard, lowering his gaze. “Sorry about that guy.”

Roach groaned and rolled over to his back, struck by the reality of what Zane had almost done. “Who was that?”

Zane shrugged, still avoiding Roach’s eyes. Was he actually embarrassed now? Good. “Just this guy I saw in the store. He gave me his number.”

Roach rubbed his sweaty forehead. “That explains nothing. Why did you try to fuck him?”

Zane’s lips twisted, but he rubbed Roach’s chest with his fingertip. “Because I started liking you too much,” he whispered in the tiniest voice, as if already realizing how stupid that was.

“You’d fuck someone just to spite me? Jesus, you’re messed up…” And yet his heart pounded like mad. Zane was admitting it. He liked Roach, and in his book, that was as much as he’d ever hoped for.

Zane slid his hand to Roach’s and entwined their fingers, his soft breath tickling Roach’s pec. “Not to spite you. This history we have… I didn’t want to lose my head. That’s why.”

“Ah. To avoid the possibility that you might not actually want to kill me once the time comes?” Roach turned to his side and stroked Zane’s hip. The whole murder thing had become a running joke between them by now, but relationship-wise, Roach didn’t really know where they stood.

Zane’s lips twitched, and he glanced at Roach, almost as if he were shy to admit that his homicidal urges had diminished. “Among other things,” he said, turning Roach’s hand in his to massage his knuckles, but the burns were also there, serving as a reminder they’d had a fight not long ago.

“What other things? I don’t wanna play games anymore, Zane. We’re clearly unable to stay away from each other, even though God knows I tried.”

The smile evaporated from Zane’s lips, but instead of pulling away, like Roach had feared, he rested his head on Roach’s bicep and pressed his nose to his pec, breathing quietly. “It doesn’t matter anymore. You’re right. I can’t stay away from you. I just wish I knew if it’s the curse or… something else.”

Roach groaned and stared up at the crack on the ceiling. “I guess there's no other way then. We need to contact Karla. Retrace our steps. And when the curse is taken off, we'll know if my love is real.”

Zane’s head moved, and his lush hair tickled Roach’s skin. “You love me?”

Roach froze. Did he say that? “What?”

“What?”

He cleared his throat. “Are you ready for this?”

Zane hesitated, but his arms closed around Roach, and he rubbed his face into the middle of Roach’s torso, no doubt sensing the furious heartbeat behind the breastbone.
