Molly grabbed a pad of sticky notes and wrote down her address. After handing it to him, she watched Faust thrust the note into his jeans pocket. Unable to stop, she considered the considerable bulge that filled his worn soft jeans.

His fingers under her chin tilted her head up until their gazes meshed. “Five o’clock tomorrow. If something happens before then, call me.”

Nodding her agreement, Molly dropped her focus to his full sensuous lips. She bet he knew how to kiss. Without consciously trying to affect him, she licked her lips and heard him groan softly. Her gaze rebounded to meet his.

“You’re killing me, Little girl. Be good.”

She nodded, willing to promise him anything. Being good was easy.

“You must be the thoughtful man who helped our Molly with her tire last night.”

Molly looked quickly to see Steve standing in the doorway of his office. He walked forward and held out his hand to shake Faust’s.

“Minister Steve, this is Faust. Faust, this is the amazing leader of this church, Steve Zigler.” Molly quickly made introductions as the men shook hands.

“Steve,” Faust greeted him brusquely. “I need to get to work.”

Faust grabbed his helmet from her desk and turned to leave. He froze and pulled a cord from his back pocket. Turning back to her, he held out the charger. “Plug your phone in.”

“Yes, Faust. Thank you.” Molly was very touched. He’d made a special stop so she could charge her phone. She walked forward to hug him and grinned when he returned her squeezing embrace. When she stepped back, he was gone in seconds.

“That’s an interesting man, Molly,” Steve suggested.

Molly knew he was warning her. “He’s unlike anyone I’ve ever met before.”

“He threatened to punch me,” Lester chimed in, acting brave now that Faust was gone.

“Only if you don’t speak nicely to me. Avoiding being hit is totally possible,” Molly clarified.

“We should all speak to each other politely. It shouldn’t take a promise of physicality to get us to do so.” Minister Steve looked at Lester meaningfully.

“Of course not. Matthew 7:12 and all that,” Lester said righteously.

Molly couldn’t prevent rolling her eyes as he quoted the same biblical verse that Faust had used. She quickly changed the subject.

“Do you have time to talk to me now, Steve?”

“This is the perfect time,” the supportive minister agreed.

Swamped, Faust didn’t even look up when the others finished for the day. He’d lost a lot of hours taking care of Molly’s tires, but he wouldn’t have done it any other way. After tossing and turning all night long worrying about her driving on that donut too long, he’d woken up pissed off as normal. There had only been one thing to do.

“You okay, Faust?” Blade asked as he cleaned up his area.

“I’m good.”

“Come in and get a beer in a couple of hours,” Steele directed.

Faust just nodded and lost himself in the engine repair he was working on. Quiet settled over the shop. He was surprised to find he missed the cacophony that usually filled the space as the guys joked and cursed stubborn repairs. Shaking his head at that thought, Faust moved to the next job he had in line. There were four in front of him.

A honk brought his head up sharply. He waited and listened. There it came again. Walking to the outside door, he picked up a rag to wipe the worst of the oil and lubricants off his hands before grabbing a bat by the cash register.

He flipped the spotlights on to blind anyone outside in the dark. Bursting through the door, he stopped abruptly at the sight of Molly’s car. “Little girl? What are you doing here?”

“I brought you some banana pudding. I had a feeling you missed dinner,” Molly said, rushing forward.

“Whoa, Pixie!” Faust stabilized her with his forearms, trying to keep her clothes free of the gunk that coated his hands as Molly bobbled the dish she held in her hands. “Are you okay?”

“Yes. Sorry. I’m a bit clumsy.”

“What is this?” Faust asked, nodding at the bowl in her hands.

“Banana pudding. It’s my grandmother’s recipe. I brought some to you for dinner. It has everything you need in it. Fruit, dairy, whipped cream, and vanilla wafers.”

“Did you make this for me?” he asked, attempting to rescue the dish, but she pulled it away. Some of the whipped cream was plastered on the plastic wrap covering the concoction underneath.

“I did. It gets better with age. Day three is my personal favorite,” Molly answered. “You need to put it on a table.”

“You’ve eaten this so many times you’ve rated it by day, hmmm?”

“Grandma knew it was my favorite. Would you try it?” she asked, practically dancing against him.

That tested his ability to control his dick. A lot. “Yes. I’ll try it.”

“Yay!” She cheered and almost dropped the dish again in her enthusiasm. “I brought you a spoon. It’s in my pocket.” Molly whirled to show him the metal sticking out of her pocket swaddled in napkins.
