I didn’t care where we were, only that we were together, touching and exploring and sharing this singular moment of connection.

Brooks brought his free hand down to cup my balls, and that’s when he noticed it. His entire body tensed, and his inquisitive hands felt all around my taint. The pressure of his touch on my guiche piercing was enough to speed me headlong into my release. I shouted into his mouth and arched into him as I came all over his hand.

“What the fuck?” he moaned, running his fingertips over the piercing again and again until I felt him come too. His hand was suddenly slick and wet with the combination of our releases before he let go. “Fuck. Oh God. Fuck.”

Both of us were heaving in breaths, our cheeks pressed hotly together as if we weren’t quite ready to actually separate.

“Mal, fuck,” he said again.

“Yeah.” I moved my face down to hide it in the side of his damp neck.

As reality shoved its way back in, I realized what a fool I’d been. If I’d sucked him off, maybe it wouldn’t have been so intense. Maybe I wouldn’t have seemed quite so desperate. Because that had only been the tip of the iceberg. What may have looked like a quick frot to anyone else was really a rare moment of me losing control.

And I never lost control with people I hooked up with. Ever since feeling so out of control growing up, I made sure I did sex on my terms. Hookups or dates, it didn’t matter. There was never a moment I allowed myself to be at the mercy of another man. I’d learned early on that the benefit to living in a big city with an active hookup culture was getting to have sex the way I wanted it: predictable, enjoyable, and without any feelings of obligation or commitment. Even the few times I’d dated a man for more than a few months, I’d found it hard to fully let go. Trust wasn’t something I came by easily, and it had been the cause of most of those short relationships dying early deaths.

“Mal, I’m so sorry,” Brooks said.

My heart lurched. Was he going to tell me this had been a terrible mistake? I yanked myself back from him and started putting myself to rights. “Yeah, fine.”

There was a moment of silence. I looked up to see confusion on his face. “No, you don’t understand. I… I…” He blew out a breath and yanked off his Head Licker shirt before reaching out with it to wipe the cum off my stomach before I could pull my shirt down over it. His movements were careful and sweet.

He glanced up at me from under his lashes. He looked… embarrassed. “I’m sorry I came so fast. I wanted to make it good for you.”

I stared at him, wondering if this was a trick. “What? Are you kidding?”

“No. I had all these plans to take it slow and kiss you and feel you and… well, I didn’t really mean to hump your leg and then masturbate all over you.”

I barked out a laugh, realizing he was being serious. He really did feel bad. I stepped back into his body and stood on my toes until we were nose to nose. “That was the hottest sexual experience of my life, and I’ve had some super fucking hot sex, Brooks Johnson.”

His eyes widened, the whites visible in the shadows. “It was?”

I answered him with a soft kiss, taking my time teasing his lips with mine until I felt his arms tighten around my back. We stayed like that for a long time, simply enjoying the closeness and lazy aftermath of a good orgasm. When we finally pulled apart, Brooks met my eyes.

“I don’t like thinking of you having hot sex with other men,” he admitted. “Makes me want to punch shit.”

I couldn’t help but laugh. “You don’t seem like the punching shit type of guy.”

He narrowed his eyes. “I could punch shit if I wanted to.”

Brooks was so fucking cute, I wanted to hump him again. I ran my hands up his chest and enjoyed the muscles under his bare skin. “Have you ever punched anyone in your life?”

“Yes. My brother, Dunn.”

I laughed even louder. “Brothers don’t count.”

“Mpfh.”

I cupped his neck. “I like that you’re not the punching type,” I confessed. “No one wants to date a puncher.”

As soon as the words were out of my mouth, I clamped my teeth together in shock. What the fuck had I just said?

“Date, huh?” He gave me a teasing smirk, knowing full well how mortified I was for the slip.

“Never mind.”

Brooks leaned in and dragged his lips along the shell of my ear before murmuring, “Let me walk you home, sweetheart.”

I nodded since using my mouth for words would have required oxygen I didn’t have at the moment.
