“So it is. But we discovered something miraculous just a few standard hours before the two of you came back.” Commander Rarev’s golden eyes were shining.
“Something miraculous?” Dra’vik asked, frowning.
“Yes. It seems the pleasure pods are renewing themselves!” Rarev started to lean over his desk in his excitement, then apparently thought better of it when he eyed the Lix’dorian pussy plant.
“You see,” he said, leaning back in his chair instead, “The problem with our pleasure blooms was not only that the existing plants were dying—they also weren’t making any more new plants. All the seed the male pods expelled into the female pods wasn’t taking root and sprouting into new plants. We thought that there was something in this ‘verse the plants and their seed was incompatible with—that they somehow just couldn’t adapt to our new position in the Multiverse.”
“But now the seed is sprouting?” Dra’vik asked, raising his eyebrows in apparent disbelief.
“It seems so.” Rarev nodded. “New pleasure blooms are springing up all throughout the Mother Ship—all along the waterways, in fact. They are growing with amazing speed, strength and vigor.” He frowned thoughtfully. “It almost seems as though someone took a great deal of the male pods’ seed and transformed it somehow, making it compatible with this ‘verse, before releasing it into our water supply.”
Iyanna felt a hot blush creeping into her cheeks. She exchanged a look with Dra’vik and then cleared her throat.
“Er, excuse me, Chief Commander, but can you tell me if the river that flows through the Mother Ship is connected to the bathing pools and showers in the suites?”
“Why yes, all our waterways are connected,” Rarev said, nodding. “Not our drinking water of course—that’s kept separate. But the bathing pools and showers are definitely part of our river system. Why do you ask?”
“No reason,” Dra’vik said quickly, before she could think up an answer. “Iyanna was just curious about the layout of the Mother Ship. But you’re certain new pleasure pods are taking hold and putting down roots?”
“Yes, they’re growing so quickly you can almost see them doing it.” Rarev’s golden eyes were shining again. “It’s quite amazing, really. They’ve already repopulated the Dark Side of the ship and they’re thriving on the Light Side as well. We expect our hull integrity to be at a hundred percent within the next week or so.”
“Wow, that’s really fast,” Iyanna murmured.
She was thinking, of course, of the several times the male pleasure pods had deposited their seed inside her, and how she had rinsed it out in the bathing pool of her suite. Was she the reason the pleasure blooms were renewing themselves? Had her Viridi Femma powers changed the seed somehow while it was inside her, and made it viable so that the seed was able to grow in this universe?
If so, I’ll never tell, she thought to herself. It would be way too embarrassing to admit what she’d done—that she’d allowed the male pods to fuck her and shoot their seed inside her pussy like they were some kind of living dildos.
Thank goodness I did, though, she thought. Since I bungled the mission to bring the Lix’dorian pleasure plants here.
“So I appear to have sent you on a useless mission,” Commander Rarev said, interrupting her train of thought. “For which, I must apologize.”
“Don’t apologize, Chief Commander,” Iyanna protested. “It wasn’t useless for Dra’vik and me—it actually allowed us to, er, get to know each other.”
She smiled at the big Drake, but for some reason Dra’vik didn’t smile back. He just nodded, his face an unreadable mask.
“Well…good.” Commander Rarev was frowning as he looked back and forth between them. “We can go over the details later if you like, but I can guess how tired the two of you must be—interstellar travel can be exhausting. So for now, perhaps you’d like to go rest?”
“Yes, thank you, Chief Commander,” Dra’vik said. “I’d definitely like to go back to the Dark Side and take some time to myself.”
His words made Iyanna frown. Was he just making an excuse to get away, or did he really want some alone time away from her? What was going on with the big Drake?
“I’d, er, be happy to have some time to rest, too,” she said, nodding.
“Thank you again for going on the mission to Lix’dor Prime,” Commander Rarev said, rising from behind his desk. “Er…what should I do with this?” he added, looking down at the bright pink pussy plant.
“Whatever you do, don’t plant it in the soil of the Mother Ship,” Dra’vik said. “After seeing how it decimated the male plant, I don’t think it’s a good idea to let it loose in the ship.”
“Agreed.” Commander Rarev nodded gravely. “Well, perhaps I will just keep it here in my office, then. At a safe distance, of course,” he added, eyeing the pink plant warily.
