“Hey, there’s a call for you on line one,” Tripp says, sticking his head in my office.
I nod at him with a smile and answer the call. “Hello,” I say into the phone.
“Hi, this is Xander Reeves, mayor of Magnolia Ridge.”
I giggle lightly into the phone. “Yes, Mayor Reeves, I know who you are.”
“I’m having a few county officials coming into town to have an important meeting, and I’d like for Atta Boy to host it.”
I quickly grab my pen and calendar, my mind already racing with ideas. “Absolutely, we’d love to do that for you,” I respond enthusiastically, trying to keep my excitement in check.
As I take down the details for the event, I realize this will be one of the biggest parties we’ll have this year. This event could catapult Atta Boy into the national spotlight. If everything goes right, our brewery could be featured in a national tourism magazine, showcasing us as a must-visit destination. I imagine the influx of tourists, the bustling crowds eager to taste our craft beers, and the neighboring cities adding us to their ‘Things to Do in Magnolia Ridge’ lists. The potential for press coverage is enormous, with journalists and bloggers sharing their experiences and spreading the word.
We can’t screw this up.
As soon as I hang up, I rush down to Callum’s office to tell him the good news. He’s out of his office chair the minute he sees what a big deal this is as well.
“We’ll have to really impress them,” he says, pacing his office floor. His eyes meet mine. “Seriously Anya, good work.”
This is the first time Callum has ever acknowledged the good work I’m doing around here. I definitely can’t screw this up.
“Hey, what’s got you so excited?” Paxton asks as he steps into the office.
I relay the info to my brother, and his eyes fill with excitement as well. He leans his head out the door, shouting, “Hey Shep, come hear this,” he says, and Shepherd walks into the office.
After relaying the information to yet another brother of mine, the office becomes a hodgepodge of bustling activity.
My brothers can’t contain their excitement as news of the upcoming party spreads to Brock and Tripp. Soon, the whole staff is buzzing with enthusiasm. As I head up to the kitchen to tell Griffin personally, my nerves get the best of me. Everything with him is so new and thrilling, I’m not sure how to act around him at work. It’s crazy, but I can't stop thinking about him, and I definitely want him to keep kissing me.
I never in a million years saw myself falling for a guy like Griffin, but now that I am, I can’t stop the speed at which I’m falling. He’s electric, and our chemistry is off the charts. Just thinking about the things he can do with his tongue excites me.
I step into the back prep area, trying to steady my racing heart. “Did you hear?” I ask him, my voice barely steady.
Griffin’s smile is wide and infectious. “This is going to be amazing.”
“We have to come up with the perfect menu. We really need to impress these people,” I say, trying to focus on the task at hand. I notice Griffin’s hands inching closer to me, and I can tell he wants to touch me. He stops himself, though, realizing we aren’t alone.
“Crazy news, right?” Shep says, slapping a hand on Griffin's shoulder. “Anya, let me know how many servers I should schedule for the event.”
I nod, my mind already planning. “I will. I’m about to go to my office and start planning before the party tonight.” I turn my attention back to Griffin, feeling a rush of warmth. “We’re all ready to go for tonight, right?”
He nods, his eyes twinkling. “Yep.”
As I turn to leave, I feel Griffin’s gaze follow me. I can't help but glance back, catching his smile. I hurry back to the confines of my office to prepare for tonight. My mind races with possibilities about the upcoming party, but I keep getting interrupted with the way Griffin made me feel last night.
And how I want him to make me feel that way again—tonight.
I’m currently on my knees, gazing up at Griffin as he slips his jeans down his body. The party ended just a mere forty-five minutes ago, and after everyone went home, Griffin stopped by my office to walk me to my car.
We didn’t make it very far.
Instead he kissed me, and one thing led to another that ended with me on my knees.
He pulls his dick out of his briefs, and I lick my lips. “You’re so hungry for it, aren’t you?”
I nod like a good girl, and give him my best pouty face when he doesn’t bring his dick any closer. “Please,” I beg of him, wanting to suck him off more than anything.
