To answer your question, if I harm you in any way, you run -- don’t walk -- to the nearest brother or prospect, tell them what happened, and they’ll take you to Thorn. Thorn will protect you like he protects his own family. He’ll get to the bottom of it and always protect you over me regarding something like abuse. The whole club will.”
“Wow. That’s a pretty strong statement.”
“It’s the truth. You can ask Thorn before you give him your answer.”
“That’s fair. As to the other… You should know I’ve never had sex before. Living in a biker club where you have to either be in your dad’s house or with him, I didn’t have a whole lot of opportunities to get intimate with anyone. “I can see how that’d be a problem.” He put an arm around me and urged me onto his lap. He held me against him, my legs tucked in beside us on the couch, me sitting firmly on his lap. “Like I said. “Good. Now. This is the only time I’m going to ask you. From this point forward, if you want something from me, you tell me. Or simply take it. For now, I want you to know I intend to kiss you. If you don’t want that, you can get off my lap, and we’ll continue our discussion. Otherwise, I’m kissing you as thoroughly as I know how to show you what you’ll be getting. Then we’re going to bed. Fuck. Just… fuck!
If Talia wasn’t the sweetest woman I’d ever kissed, I didn’t know who was. She was tentative but responsive to the slow flicks of my tongue over hers. At first, she was completely still, then she sighed and melted against me, opening her mouth to my invasion. She moaned and simply let me have her.
I tried to take it slow, knowing I could only go so far this first time. I wasn’t going to fuck her tonight. No. I’d hold her in bed while she slept. Might even make her come. The rest, however, would have to wait. This whole situation was happening. Talia would be mine in every way possible. She’d be my woman. My wife. My ol’ lady. I’d told her the same thing when she asked me. I’d never let her go. Her dad had given her to me, and I intended to keep her.
Whatever his reasons were, I seriously doubted he intended for this to be permanent. Even if he said so now. Something was happening that made it necessary for someone other than him to protect Talia, and I’d been a convenient solution. Now that I’d had this brief taste of her, I knew I’d never get over it. All the women in my life, and I had to go and lay claim to a friend of my teenage daughter. I was so going to hell…
I could taste her innocence! It was like freshly fallen snow. Refreshing, yet so pristine and delicate you were afraid to touch. Her skin was soft and silky against me, her scent wrapping around me like her arms wrapped around my neck. She clung sweetly, her fingers finding the hair at the back of my neck and gripping it tightly. Her sigh was sweet music, as were her whimpers and gasps.
With as much gentleness as I could, I gripped Talia’s jaw, taking complete control. But only for a few seconds. My every instinct told me I could take her as far as I wanted, but I’d given her my word. This was all going to be her choice.
I ended the kiss, rubbing my nose against hers lightly. “Now. When you’re ready to continue, you let me know.” I winked at her, trying to lighten the mood a little without pulling her completely out. “I for one am hoping your curiosity gets the better of you sooner rather than later.”
