Wizard frowned. “Whatever it is, it’s pissed them the hell off.”

Deciding it might be better to ask someone who didn’t look like they wanted to rip their heads off and shit down their throats, he called out for Celeste.

When she turned from the end of the bar and headed their way, he wished he had asked Margarita. Celeste’s breasts were bouncing angrily as she walked toward them.

Doom moved to the other side of the pool table.

“I’m going to deal with this shit.” Wizard might have put on a brave face, yet he did move to stand next to Doom.

“Damn, if she isn’t careful, one of those implants are going to explode,” he whispered to Wizard just as Celeste reached them.

Wizard didn’t waste time. “What is everyone so—”

“Did you tell Arden not to bring a tray of meatballs today?” Celeste angrily thrust her hands on her hips, whipping her eyes to Doom.

Looking to where Arden sat with the brothers gathered around her, he clenched his jaw before looking back at Celeste. “I might have.”

“There’s no might about it; you either did or didn’t,” she snapped.

“I did.”

Celeste’s nostrils flared. “Do you smell that?”

He did. He had noticed the smell when Arden was using the microwave. “I noticed.”

“She was nice enough to share what she did bring.” Celeste’s lips curled in anger. “You didn’t have a fucking problem with Breaker bringing cheap-ass pizza, but you wouldn’t let her bring meatballs my Italian grandmother could have made?” She started yelling. “That’s bullshit! You’re afraid we’ll get spoiled?” Her eyes turned venomous. “You don’t have a problem spoiling yourselves when you eat out, or bring takeout into the club to eat in the office or your rooms. Arden isn’t even a member of the club yet, and she shared more food with us than either of you have. We put up with the cheap-ass beer you buy for us, but let me tell you something—” she pointed a finger at both of them, “next week, Arden is bringing Puck and Buck their own trays of meatballs and garlic knots. And unless Margarita and I get our own trays to share with the other women, the only pussy you’ll be getting are the ones you see in fucking pictures!” She shot them another venomous glare, then turned on her heel to return to the bar.

Doom and Wizard stared at each other.

Wizard’s eyes filled with rage. “Are you having any fun with her yet?”

Doom had to bite his tongue at Wizard mocking him about saying it could be fun when Wizard had asked what they should do about Arden.

“No.”

“She’s never talked to me that way before. I don’t like it!”

“I can tell. I didn’t enjoy it, either!” Doom snapped back.

“I’m not the one who told her not to bring the damn meatballs!”

“I did it because I remember what you said about coddling them.”

“Since when do you listen to me when I say stupid shit? I was just trying to be an asshole in front of her.”

“You’re one all the time.”

“Yeah… But I usually don’t get called out for it!” Wizard gave threatening glares to the brothers who were still glaring at them until their gazes dropped.

“Get Arden over here.”

“Arden!” Doom yelled.

Wizard gave him a withering look. “I could have done that myself. I wanted it done discreetly.”

Doom gave one back, “Then you should have said that.”

Usually, Sunday was his favorite day of the week. It was his day of rest and relaxation. It had gone to hell in a handbasket since he had woken up. He had tried to hold back so he didn’t enter the bar at the same time as Celeste, Margarita, and Wizard, but they had stubbornly waited for him to finish showering. He didn’t know why he cared anyway. The woman wasn’t anything to him, nor would she ever be. Hell, what had started out as payback to take the woman down a peg or two was turning into an attraction that was doomed for failure. He didn’t do relationships, and Arden screamed to be a relationship kind of woman.

At his yell, Arden jumped from the stool. Doom didn’t miss the way Burn’s and Hawk’s eyes trailed after her.

Becoming irritated for no reason, he leaned a hip against the pool table, interest in the game now gone.

“Yes?” She brought her eyes to his. “Do you need some more beer?”

“No!” Wizard snapped. “We don’t need any beer. Does the restaurant you work at cater?”

“Yes.”

“Text me a catering menu. Book us for tomorrow night.”

Arden was already shaking her head. “Sorry. Mama’s booked for the next two months. She’s pretty popular for weddings and birthdays.”

“Really?” he gritted out. “If she’s so fucking busy, how are you going to bring Buck and Puck their own trays?”

Arden smiled at him. “Mama likes me.”

“You couldn’t use her affection for you to arrange for us to have some tomorrow night or another night this week?”
