He didn’t move but his fingers created a dance between her thighs, drawing her closer to the peak. Another moan escaped. She felt so close. On edge.

Grant was there, as he always was, to catch her. She came hard, screaming his name.

Grant didn’t stop until she couldn’t take it anymore, and then his hands returned to her hips and he held her in place, taking her pussy. There was nothing sweet or kind. This was cold, hard fucking, and Aria loved it. Grant’s grip tightened on her hips as he filled her hard, and then she felt the kick of his cock as he came.

Afterward, he wrapped his arms around her, kissing her neck.

“That was all I’ve been wanting to do all night. That dress is mine. You can’t wear it in front of anyone else.”

She chuckled. “Was it really that bad?”

“Babe, men wanted you.”

She didn’t think that was possible. The only man she ever wanted was the one whose arms were wrapped around her. Grant was the only guy she had ever wanted. He’d been a first for so many things.

He pressed kisses to her shoulder, sliding his tongue across her pulse.

“As much as I love kneeling on the stairs,” he said. “I think it best we move to the bedroom.”

Bull looked toward William Ranford. The man didn’t look like he was in control. The clothes he wore were filthy. He had several days’ growth of stubble.

“This is what going after the Cartel does to you?” Bull asked.

He’d been tempted to take on the Cartel, which was exactly what William Ranford had done. He’d been the only one to take the Cartel on and win, at least as far as Bull could see.

William laughed. “No, this is what a shitty, younger, weak brother does to you. I should have killed him when I had the chance.”

“Why didn’t you?” Bull asked.

“Call me sentimental, but I happen to like my brother. He was family.”

“Then you shouldn’t have taken on the Cartel. They came after him. Your weakest link. They’ve taken your city,” Bull said.

William chuckled. “And you think there’s no way back from that? I’ve dealt with worse problems, trust me. My brother dead, I’ve got nothing.”

“Why did you want this meeting?” Bull asked.

He owed William for saving Maddie’s and Grant’s lives. Even though he looked like he’d been through a nightmare and back, he still had a great deal of respect for the man.

“Hernandez is dead. His body was discovered in a pit a few days ago,” William said.

Bull’s contact within the Cartel was Hernandez. They had been the ones to come up with the agreement for the Chaos and Carnage MC to distribute. It meant keeping the Cartel out of Carnage for good. He’d not been able to reach the man for some time and in fact, the whole of the Cartel had been quiet. Bull had noticed it after he took out the rival Julio in the Vito Crew Cartel.

Something didn’t add up. Each part of the Cartel had a leader. Hernandez had been the coastal one, who helped to distribute through Carnage.

“Why are you telling me this?” Bull asked.

“Hernandez may have been Cartel, but he was also fair. He saw the benefit of having an MC run product. You guys were good, easy to blend, and able to get their shit out fast. Someone else is running the shots and if the rumor is true, they’re already in Carnage.”

“If that’s so, why are you here?”

“Do you think Julio was the only bastard that took my brother? I’m at war with the whole Cartel. They have a hit out on me, and trust me, I’m going to make every single one of those fuckers pay. I’m not finished. My story isn’t finished. I will end all of them.”

“And you think it will be over?” Bull asked. “Others will take their place.”

William smiled. “And because you never take your eye off the ball, they never get a chance at power. You squash them.”

Bull shook his head. “You’re risking your life being in my town.”

“Bull, I’ve been in your town for four months and you haven’t seen me. Trust me, I know what I’m doing. Shit is about to get real, very fucking quickly. You’ve got to be prepared for it when it goes down.”

William spun on his heel and headed in the opposite direction than he came.

“Do you need money?”

“I’ve got everything I need.” William held his hand in the air as if it were a final salute.

With William gone, Pat took a step toward Bull. “I know who the guy in the picture is,” Pat said.

Bull turned to him. Pat had taken the details with him several days ago. He couldn’t believe Grant had taken the pictures. His little brother could have been caught or even killed.

When Pat returned to the clubhouse, he had said he didn’t have the information, but he knew someone who could get them all the details they needed. They just had to be patient.
