He pushed inside her and it stretched her almost to the point of pain. But he’d prepared her for this. He’d used those plugs on her religiously. And as one hand went to the back of her neck, to rub the skin lightly while he began thrusting in and out of her ass, her arousal grew almost to the point of pain.
He fucked her ass. And it was amazing. It now felt like he’d claimed all of her. Like he owned all of her.
“Please, please, please.”
“What do you need, girl?”
“To come. Oh, God.”
“Then come, my baby. Come for me.”
He drove into her as he spoke and she shattered. She came with a scream. The orgasm was so intense that it shocked her. She didn’t think it was possible. But it was like his dick was rubbing against a whole new set of nerve endings.
And she liked it.
He moved faster and faster until he stilled and groaned. She collapsed forward onto the bed as he rolled onto his side. Reaching over, he drew her into his arms.
“Fuck, girl. You’ve killed me.”
“Ditto.”
“I’ll clean us both up in a minute. I just need a moment to catch my breath.”
She glanced up to find he had his arm over his eyes. His body was coated in sweat and they were probably going to need a shower.
Now was the perfect time to give him what had arrived in the mail the other day. She wriggled out of his hold.
“Girl, where are you going?”
“I’ve got something for you, Grumpy Bear.”
She moved into the bathroom first to clean up. Then she walked out into the bedroom and over to the closet.
“I was going to clean you up, girl.”
“I know, Grumpy Bear. But you need this.” She pulled out the item she’d hidden in there.
He sat up, watching her. His eyes widened in surprise as she kneeled on the bed in front of him, handing him the plaque.
“To the world’s best lover, boyfriend, and Daddy. I love you,” he read huskily. “Baby girl . . . “
“Do you like it?” she asked.
“Yes, of course. But it’s wrong.”
She frowned. “What do you mean?”
He got off the bed and walked into the bathroom. When he returned, he held a velvet box in his hand.
“I know you said I had to ask you in a romantic way, but I don’t know how to fucking do that. So I figure the first time we have anal sex is pretty memorable right?”
He kneeled on the floor in front of her and held up the box. It should have been a terrible time to ask her.
And yet, it felt utterly perfect.
“Maeve, I’m not romantic. I’m not perfect. I’m grumpy and possessive and controlling. But somehow, in some way, I did something to deserve you. And I will never do anything that would change that. Be mine, girl. In all ways.” He opened the box, revealing a delicate band with a large emerald cut diamond surrounded by smaller diamonds.
There wasn’t a question in there. Not really. It was all demand.
But that was Gray, wasn’t it?
He was likely never going to ask. And she decided that she didn’t need him to. She held out her hand.
“Yes. Yes, Grumpy Bear, I’ll marry you.”
“Thank fuck for that.”
She giggled at his reply as he slid the ring onto her finger. Then he took her hand, kissing the top of it.
Aww. That was romantic.
“Now, don’t you ever take that off.”
And that was Gray.
She threw herself at him, toppling him backward as she kissed his face. “I love you, Daddy.”
“I love you too, girl. You’ll have to change that plaque to say fiancée. Or you might want to wait until it can say husband.”
“I like the sound of that. Husband.” She stared down at her ring admiringly.
“I’ve just got one question,” he said as he rolled them so she was lying on her back and he was looming over her.
“What?”
“How come it’s not a trophy?”
“Daddy.” She shook her head. “You’ve got to earn a trophy. They don’t just give those away to anyone.”
“You little brat!”
He tickled her until she screamed with laughter.
Eventually, his laughter joined hers.
Maeve broke into a victory dance, grinning as Gray joined her.
It was perfect.
