“Oh fuck, Kelsey.” The sound of his skin hitting mine is hot, erotic, and the more he taps out that code, the closer I get to heaven.

“Coop.” I push back, and he thrusts, deeper and faster. My hands grasp the brick wall in search of something to keep me tethered to the Earth, but there’s nothing, and when my orgasm hits, I have no choice but to let go.

“Oh, God, yes. Coop!” I cry and shake my head as pleasure overwhelms me.

I clench and swell around Coop, grunting his pleasure as his hips smack against me. Harder. Faster.

“Kelsey, fuck!”

We both pant like it’s the finish line of a marathon, and I arch my back a little more, letting his still-pulsing cock sink deeper.

“Yes! So good.”

His lips brush against my neck and trigger another round of aftershocks.

“See? Outta my league.”

I smile and shake my head at his compliment. Coop has a sweet side, maybe even a romantic side, and damn if that doesn’t just make me fall a little bit harder.

Feeling bold, I turn and face him, moaning at the loss of his cock buried inside me.

“If I was truly out of your league, I’d drop to my knees right now and lick you clean.”

He swallows, and his eyes darken right before mine. His mouth kicks up into a smile. “Oh, yeah?”

“Yep.” I nod slowly and sink down to my knees, giving in to the need, just for a moment, to be truly out of his league.

It’s a heady feeling, and the way he rewards me after I lick him clean and suck him dry keeps my body on a high for the next few days.

Chapter Eighteen

Coop

I stand in front of Ace and Shades, waiting for them to respond to the news I just shared with them. News that came courtesy of Kelsey, of all people. I rake a hand through my hair and sigh. “Jesus. Will one of you just fucking say something?”

Shade’s lips tremble before they split into an amused grin, his eyes shielded behind a pair of mirrored aviator sunglasses. “Why are you so sure that we’re the someones her old man was talking about?”

My eyes go round in shock. “Are you shitting me? Because who the fuck else owns the damn Port, Shades?”

He looks to Ace, wearing a matching grin a moment before they burst out laughing.

I shoot them a look. The fact that anyone from the Port Commission wants to get involved in actual Port business beyond setting hours and basic rules of operation is problematic at best. At worst, it means they are—or trying to—work with our enemies. Which makes them our enemies. “What the fuck is so funny?” I finally say.

Ace sighs. “You,” he says and motions me to sit. “I know you well enough to know you’re not telling her shit you shouldn’t about MC business, but I’m curious why she told you any of this?”

Oh. “Kelsey’s a bit of a worrier. The night I met her was the night we got into it with Hector’s boys.”

Kelsey’s strange that way. She seemed turned on watching me pound the fuck out of Nogales, but the way she reminded me to be careful told me she was a worrier.

Ace nods.

Shades laughs. Again.

“So, what are we gonna do about this?” Ace asks the question out loud, but it’s clear his mind is already churning to figure out if this problem requires a fist solution or a diplomatic one.

“Pay a visit to Delaney,” Shades says emphatically.

“Agreed.”

Ace sighs and shakes his head. “We can’t just go bust the Port Director’s head, guys. He’s got too much fucking power, and we can’t risk one of the commissioners taking his place.”

He runs through the problems with each member of the board, and by the end, Shades and I agree.

“We don’t have to hurt him,” Shades says with a conspiratorial grin. “He’s got a hot young wife, emphasis on young, and a four-year-old little boy. Apple of his eye, I’m told.”

Ace and I both stare at Shades in surprise, though we shouldn’t have been. He’s a man of many talents, and at the top of that list is watching people and gathering intel. He’s the MC’s resident database because he knows so much shit about the right people, and unlike Wild Man, he does it all without technology.

“What?” he says, shrugging his massive shoulders. “I hear things, and I make it a point to know everything there is to know about anyone who can fuck up our business.”

He rolls his eyes as if it’s no big deal, but I can see Ace’s opinion starting to shift. Shades misses it, though, and keeps arguing his point.

“Fucking hell, man. I’m not saying let’s hurt the wife or the son, but it’s good leverage, and we can’t deny that. Unless you’re too good for a bit of kidnapping?”
