“Those weren’t in the rulebook.”

“Rulebook?” I groan. “You’re making it up as you go along.”

He laughs, pressing a finger against my clit and making small circular motions. “And so far, it’s working out in my favor.” He slides his finger inside, and I feel his lips closing in on me. He’s repositioned his face underneath my hips, giving him the perfect angle at my pussy.

“You’re a damn cheater,” I hiss, grinding my hips down on his mouth. He wraps both arms around my legs and positions my body so I’m practically sitting on his face. “You’re one of those dirty cops, aren’t you?” I taunt.

I feel his lips smile against me and shiver. “You say that like it’s a bad thing.”

Before I can respond, he slides his tongue inside, and I lose all my coherent thoughts. His mouth devours me as he releases a throaty moan. I fist my fingers in his hair and clench my jaw as he takes complete control. His tongue is doing things to me that make me grind my hips on him harder and faster until I can no longer take it. I lose myself in him as my body shakes against his lips and I release on his tongue.

Once my heartbeat finds a steady rhythm again, we lie on the bed together.

“Guess I won’t need to make breakfast today,” he says with a guilty smirk.

“You’re a smug asshole.” I pretend to pout.

“For a girl who just screamed out my name and came on my face, you’re a little moody,” he quips.

“I so hate you right now.”

“Don’t be a sore loser. Better luck next time.” He turns toward me and presses a sweet kiss on my lips.

I shake my head at him with a knowing smile. “I see how we’re playing now.”

Brushing the hair away from my face, he wraps the loose strands behind my ear. “Does that mean you’ll be bringing your A game?” He cocks a brow, mocking me.

“You may have won this round, Deputy. But don’t count your chickens just yet.”

I’m over forty-five minutes late for work, and I’m so pissed about it. I’m never late, but considering the reasons, I think today can be an exception. No one dares to say anything about it, but I see the dirty looks they’re giving me. But I can’t even care today because I woke up with Drew Fisher in my bed.

Once I get settled in, I check my email and see Viola has responded to my last message. Shit. I’m going to have to update her. Again.

Court,

Sorry it’s been a few days! It’s ahhh-mazing here! They also have really comfortable beds here, if you get what I mean. So, first things first. Drew is a Grade A idiot for going back to Mia. He’s also mental if he’s claiming he can’t remember. I’m going to kick his ass so far when I get back you’ll need to find a new roommate. I just might tell Mia where she can stick that whip.

Okay, more on that later.

The tour was incredible. And I’m 100% Gryffindor, you bitch. Don’t insult me like that. I’m bringing back the best souvenirs for you, too. (Harry Potter themed, of course)!

I miss you, too. We’ll have a catch-up date when I get home!

Love you!

-Lola

P.S. I’m truly sorry he hurt you. I hate him for you.

Shit. Shit. Shit.

She’s going to have my head for emailing her back with a proper update, but I’m afraid if I don’t, she’ll send an owl to claw his eyes out.

Lola,

There are so many reasons I love you and being so protective of me is one of them, so thank you for always having my back, even when it has to do with your brother. However, there’s been a teeny misunderstanding on my part. (Who said I was rational?)

The good news: Mia is out of the picture! FOR GOOD! (Fucking finally!)

The bad news: Your brother still won’t have sex with me. (Okay, this is really just bad news for me, not you.)

The great news: He did remember our night together & now we’re seeing where it goes. I guess? Basically, I threw myself at him and he said he wanted to take things slow since he just ended a relationship. (Seriously, my poor vagina has been so neglected it’s taken up crochet as a hobby.) I feel like I can’t really be mad about him wanting to take things slow and really making sure it works out between us, but Jesus Christ. Every time I look at him, my body is ready to launch at him like a spaceship.

So with all that, we will be picking you up from the airport Sunday morning! I can’t wait to hug you! I hope you can still walk after all the sex you two have been having. I’m not carrying you.
