Rai is more wary of me, as she should be.

Point is, I did what none of them has accomplished. Two shipments have passed through and I’m here tonight with most of my men for the third.

Adrian tells me that if I keep going down this unsure road, I might lose everything. That motherfucker cares about my safety. He just refuses to admit it out loud.

At any rate, even if I lose these cartels, I will just have to secure others. The leader of one of them did suggest I could strengthen our relationship by marrying Karina to his son, and I resisted the urge to bash his head in.

I don’t like the fact that he knows she exists, let alone thinks that I’d marry her off for this. I like to think that no one deserves my sister, but even if such a motherfucker does exist, he won’t be in our world.

She needs a normal life after all the fuckery she lived through.

But I digress, only slightly.

Viktor, Yuri, Maksim, and Sasha are scouting the premises of the dock to make sure the rest of the men are in their positions and that no surprises lurk between the containers.

I look out the window of the car at the cloudy sky, then check my watch. It’s been exactly three minutes since I texted Sasha to get back to the car. Minutes that she could’ve used to get her ass here.

To say I can’t get enough of her would be a fucking understatement. I often find myself cornering her anywhere possible, just so I can have access to her.

Is her pussy addictive? Fuck yes.

I still find it infuriating that she has this type of hold on me, especially since I’ve never been as attuned to another woman’s body or needs as I am to hers.

The moment I’m done fucking her is the exact moment I want her again. I actually have to physically restrain myself from ramming into her all night long just to put some form of distance between us.

Then I recall that she said we’re only sex buddies, so I drive her to the edge without mercy.

Now, since we have about two hours until the arrival of the shipment, I can fuck her in the car while everyone is doing their business. Sometimes, Viktor asks, “What the fuck do you need Lipovsky for when you have me?” and I resist the urge to facepalm him.

Sasha finally shows up in the distance, checking her watch and quickening her steps. She cut her hair again because the length was making her so ‘girly’ that even the other guards started teasing her about it. She hated doing it. I could tell because she was in a sour mood all day long.

She opens the car door, panting. “You asked for me?”

I pull her inside so that she’s sitting on my lap, then slam the door and wrap my arm around her lithe waist. “Took you a minute too long.”

“I was on the other side of the dock, double-checking my position.” She tries to push away, but my hold around her waist forbids her from getting free.

“Stay still.” I start to unzip her pants, but she jerks and slips from my hold, practically throwing herself across the seat and against the door before she sits up.

My hand flexes and unflexes as I contemplate the best way to haul her back where she belongs. “Care to explain what the fuck you’re doing?”

“We’re not having sex while waiting for an important shipment, Kirill. That’s just not going to happen.” Her confident way of speaking makes my dick fucking hard.

“Why wouldn’t we? We have two hours to go.”

“I’d lose concentration,” she admits in a lower tone. “And I’d have shaky limbs, which wouldn’t help in the least when I’m supposed to be a sniper.”

“Then you can just rest here. We’ll take care of the mission.”

“So now I’m only useful for sex while you and the others take care of the mission?”

“I never said that.”

“Well, that’s what I’m getting. I’m telling you, Kirill, my job is more important than sex.”

Did this fucking woman just say that being a bodyguard is more important than fucking? If this is her way of further insinuating that I’m ‘convenient,’ I swear to fuck—

“Well, not more important,” she blurts, her cheeks reddening. “They can’t be compared, I guess. All I’m saying is that we can’t have sex. It’s distracting and I’m trying to stay focused.”

That makes me smirk. “I’m distracting?”

“Of course you are.”

Distracting is better than convenient, so I let it go. For now.

“What am I supposed to do for two hours if I’m not fucking your brains out?” I ask.

“You can sleep for once.” She steals a look at me. “You haven’t done that for weeks.”

“I don’t sleep.”

“You did…that other time.”

“When you ran away to meet Konstantin, you mean?”
