“No one needs to know.”
He huffed out a breath. “Yeah, right. No one needs to know. We’ll know. I’ll fuckin’ know. Once I sink my dick inside you, once I taste your pussy, ain’t gonna be easy to forget.”
“You might be giving me more credit than you should.”
“It’s risky to find out.”
Her sigh this time was nothing like the previous one. “I love this club and you guys but I hate the rule that includes me. It’s not right or fair.”
“Bein’ a part of this club means rules. And it’s one way your sister’s lookin’ out for you.”
“She’s done that my whole life. She can stop at any time now.”
“She ain’t ever gonna stop, Reilly. You know that. She might be your sister but she raised you like a daughter. Wants the best for you. That’s what true family wants for each other. Good shit, not bullshit.”
“But a Fury member is good enough for her. What a fucking hypocrite.”
Sighing, he straightened and stepped back, giving the two of them space. This turn of conversation was quickly killing his erection and he needed to think more clearly, anyway. “Difference is, Deacon’s her ol’ man. She wears his cut. That right there means a lot. She don’t want anyone usin’ you like a sweet butt. Don’t want anyone disrespectin’ you. I get it. That’s exactly why Saylor’s on that same fuckin’ list. She don’t need to be ridin’ a different dick every night. You don’t, either.”
“Why don’t you let us make those decisions for ourselves?”
“You can. You can ride as many dicks as you want.” Lie. “Just ain’t gonna be Fury dicks.” Truth. “That’s something Reese can control. Anyone not wearin’ Fury colors, she can’t.”
“That’s why I had to—” Her lips pressed together and she turned away. She walked the few steps over to the window and peered out between the closed vertical blinds.
Out back, there was nothing to see but a parking lot and a privacy fence. The motel wasn’t full. The clerk had assured him that the rooms in the rear of the motel weren’t normally used until the front rooms were first filled, so they’d get plenty of privacy.
Why she was glancing out the window, he had no fucking clue, unless she was simply trying to avoid finishing her thought.
“Had to what?” he prodded, stepping behind her and confirming nothing was out there to cause any interest or concern.
She continued to look outside at nothing when she murmured, “Find some elsewhere.”
He stared at the back of her head, of all that blonde hair falling loosely around her shoulders, doing his best to ignore what she just said.
But he couldn’t. He couldn’t ignore that, just like he couldn’t ignore her. No matter how hard he tried.
It shouldn’t fucking bother him because she was a hot fucking chick in her mid-twenties. She was no prairie dress wearing virgin waiting for a husband before spreading her legs. He knew that.
He. Fucking. Knew. That.
But he had always wanted to ignore that she might be finding dick elsewhere.
The same with Saylor.
Jemma, Reilly, Saylor and Tessa, the prez’s sister, went out a lot together since they were all closer in age. He was pretty fucking sure, being Cage’s ol’ lady, Jemma wasn’t trolling for dick. But the others?
He set his jaw. Manning Grove didn’t have a singles’ scene but tourists, Mansfield U. students, and others with functioning libidos were always coming to town and even hitting up Crazy Pete’s for bands, pool tournaments, and all the other shit Stella scheduled at the bar to bring in more customers.
He pursed his lips. The women went there a lot for karaoke…
For fuck’s sake, maybe they only said they were heading to Pete’s and, instead, hit up Mansfield or even Williamsport, where there were plenty of bars or clubs to find a random hookup. And where no one would notice, like Dodge or Stella.
Though, Stella would never spill that info anyway, since there seemed to be some sort of code of silence in the sisterhood. That alone should pucker the assholes of all the men attached to those women.
“Wanna say that again?”
She let the blinds fall back into place and turned to face him. “This stupid ass rule is why I have to find dick elsewhere.” As his mouth opened, she threw up a hand to stop him. “Don’t you fucking dare. Don’t you say one fucking word. Not one. You all stick your dicks anywhere you damn well please—“
“Not anywhere—”
She ignored him and plowed on. “And no one blinks a damn eye. I’m supposed to watch you all getting your rocks off—front and center, I might add—and I’m supposed to go back to my place and be satisfied with my Rabbit or my own hand.”
What the fuck was a rabbit? Besides the furry animal with big ears.
“That’s just bullshit. I’m a living, breathing woman who has needs. Just like you guys have needs. I’m an adult and not a damn child. I can make my own damn decisions of whose cock I want to ride or suck.” She frowned. “Close your damn mouth. It’s hanging open like you have a damn brain injury or something.”
