“So, now, I know what was really in your pants!”
Rolling her over, I pushed against her, causing her to lift her brows and gasp.
“Oh, how I’ve missed the feel of you.”
“I’m going to take my time, baby. We’ve got a lot to make up for.”

Opening my eyes, I turned to see the bed was empty. The smell of bacon filled the air. I swung my legs over the bed and scrubbed my hands down my face. Glancing at the clock, I was stunned to see it was six in the morning.
I stood and walked around the bed to find my jeans. I had discarded them somewhere when Michelle and I could no longer stand the clothes between us.
“Well, there are my pants. Where is my T-shirt?” I said to myself.
I slipped on my jeans and decided to just go shirtless. I headed downstairs to the kitchen. I hated the thought of Michelle staying in this huge house by herself all the time.
I stepped around the corner and saw her standing at the stove in nothing but my T-shirt. My heart slammed against my chest as I stood there and watched her shake her sweet ass to Maroon 5.
Damn. I had been one stupid son of a bitch to not see what I had before. That, and I’d listened to my damn brother. Never again.
Taking in the sight before me, I watched her until she turned and let out a small scream.
She rested her hand on her hip. “You scared the shit out of me!”
“I was enjoying the show.” My eyes raked over her body. “And may I say, you look hot as hell, wearing my T-shirt.”
Her finger ran along her lower lip as she gazed at me through her long eyelashes. “That’s the only thing I have on.”
My jeans instantly felt too tight. “Is that right?”
She nodded while giving me a come-hither look. I walked over to her. Trailing my fingers down her arm, I moved my hand to the bottom of the shirt. She shuddered when I reached under and lightly touched her stomach.
Running my nose along her neck, I whispered, “The bacon will burn.”
Her chest rose and fell with deep breaths. “Who cares?”
Before we could go any further, the doorbell rang.
Michelle dropped her head back and groaned. “Why?”
I chuckled and hit her on the ass. “The bacon was saved by the bell.”
Michelle turned on the monitor that was in the kitchen, showing the feed from all sixteen security cameras that were placed around her house. Her parents had had them installed when they decided they were going to travel the world and leave their daughter behind.
Skylar popped up on one of the small images.
My hands slipped under the T-shirt where they cupped Michelle’s perfect breasts. Rubbing her nipples, I softly said, “Tell her to go away.”
Michelle pressed the speaker. “Hey, Sky. What’s up?”
Skylar looked up at the camera. “Mitch never came home last night. He always lets my parents or me know if he’s staying at a friend’s. What happened between y’all last night? He said he was going to your place. Did you fight? What did you say to him? Did you turn him away? Why in the hell am I talking to a camera?”
Pressing the speaker button again, Michelle said, “Hold on, freak.”
My hands slipped out from the T-shirt as Michelle turned around and flashed me that beautiful smile.
“Hold that thought.”
She headed to the front door as I tended to the bacon with a serious hard-on pressing against my jeans. I could hear Skylar the second Michelle opened the door.
“I’m sorry if I woke you up. I smell bacon. Were you up? Do you have any idea where Mitch is?”
“Sky, he’s—”
Skylar’s voice drew closer. “This isn’t like Mitch.”
“He’s—”
“What happened last night, Michelle?”
“Jesus, if you would take a breath and let me talk, I’d tell you.”
They both walked into the kitchen where I was leaning against the counter with a smile on my face.
Skylar stopped dead in her tracks. A wide smile appeared on her face as she looked at me and then turned to Michelle. “Oh. My. Gosh. Please tell me this is what I think it is. Please tell me you had sex!” Skylar frowned. “I never thought I’d ever hear myself say that.”
Michelle walked over to me and ran her finger from my chest to the top of my jeans. “Do you really want us to answer that question, Sky?”
Throwing up her hands, Skylar called out, “No! Don’t answer it. I get the gist of what happened.” Her expression turned serious. “Did y’all talk though? Work things out?”
Wrapping my arms around Michelle, I pulled her against me. “We did. We worked out a lot of things.”
“And a lot of body parts,” Michelle added.
Skylar covered her mouth and gagged. “That’s gross. But what about…”
She let her words fall, and I knew she had been about to ask about Zeb.
