Every single ounce of reluctance seemed to leave his body as he crushed his mouth back to mine.

His hands went up the back of his shirt that I was wearing—one that I intended to steal—and splayed wide on the expanse of my back.

At first, he was quite gentlemanly in the way that he treated me, making sure that every single touch and feel of his hand was something that I wanted.

But then, when my touches along his skin started to get bolder, he threw the hesitant touches out the window and decided to become braver, too.

His hand snuck up the expanse of my back, going so high that my shirt eventually exposed my bare stomach to his.

I followed suit, going as far as to completely untucking the shirt he had all nice and tidy and shoving it up his chest so that we were touching bare skin from navel to chest.

He growled and pulled back, his hand leaving my shirt and my body completely, only to grab the fabric at his nape and all but rip the shirt off over his head.

I blinked, surprised at the suddenness of the move, as well as all the skin that was bared.

Now, I’d seen Cassius bare-chested a whole bunch of times. In fact, I would’ve liked to say that I was immune, but that definitely wasn’t the case.

Especially right now when that chest was heaving.

His nipples were tight little buds and the hair…

Oh, god. I’d never really been attracted to men with hairy chests. I’d always thought it was gross. But then I’d never really given much thought to how it would feel against my skin.

I reached out and ran my hand along his chest.

He didn’t have so much hair that it was a pelt or anything, but he had just enough that it covered his chest, and trailed down his belly to a line where it disappeared into his pants.

Oh, and the man had abs. Not so blatant that they looked like he trained them every day, but definitely there. But the most surprising part was the way, in the harsh overhead light, the V at the base of his belly seemed to become more prominent.

I reached forward, unable to help myself, and followed the trail of hair from his mid-belly to the top of his jeans. Jeans that were sagging so damn low that I could just see the top of his pubic hair.

“Don’t,” he said harshly. “I’m barely hanging on to my control.”

He went to pull my hand away from his skin, but before he could so much as wrap his fingers around my wrist, I twisted and locked my hand around the waistband of his jeans.

“Don’t,” I said. “I’m okay. You can lose the control.”

His eyes studied mine, trying to take in whether I was completely okay with what we were about to do. And I showed him exactly what he needed to see.

Biting my lip, I stepped back, too, allowing him to watch as I lifted his shirt from my body.

His eyes lit with an inner fire that sent tingles spreading out in waves from a centralized location down below.

“You are fucking beautiful,” he said when I tossed the shirt to the floor beside his.

I reached for his sweatpants, and he did catch my hands this time, pinning them high above my head against the wall that I hadn’t realized was close until now.

I drew in a deep breath, my eyes going wide, and felt that heat bloom between my legs. The pulsing beat of my heart caused the throb between my legs to become fiercer.

“Cassius,” I breathed.

His eyes were smiling when he leaned in and trailed his lips along my throat.

“Cassius,” I gasped again when his tongue came out and ran along the shell of my ear.

“No, and this all stops the instant you need me to,” he said against the skin of my throat.

“Yes,” I goaded him, urging him to keep going.

He chuckled, and his breath fanned against my throat as he transferred my bound hands to one of his. Seconds later, he was cupping my breast, his thumb sweeping a line across my nipple.

One would think he’d just swept his thumb over my clit, not my nipple, by the way a startled moan left my lips.

“Holy hell,” I breathed.

I’d had sex before.

Eight times, to be specific. Four of those times being with different dudes.

And not one of them, not a single freakin’ one, had made me feel like my soul left my body with a single nipple touch. But there we were.

“What are you thinking about so hard?” He fanned kisses over my lips. Top. Left. Right. Bottom.

“I’m thinking now’s not a good time to tell you that,” I informed him.

He pinched my nipple, causing my heels to leave the ground in reaction.

“Thinking about other men when I’m about to fuck you?” he asked. “You better not be.”
