“Not until you promise on your life not to ask me to wear a fucking costume at your wedding. Hey, this is the perfect place for a wedding.”
“Nope, we can do something here after since this place holds such fond memories for my girl and me, but I know she’d want the castle thing, and she’s getting it. And you fools will wear whatever she asks you to. And don’t go browbeating your women into changing her mind either.”
“Are you really getting that bed?”
“Yep!” We started to walk back towards the house with them calling me every name in the book.
“Jace will wear it and be happy to, don’t worry.” Those are the words we heard Sian say as soon as we opened the door and walked into the family room where the girls were gathered.
I had to bite my cheek to keep from laughing at the look on his face. “Oh, hi guys, had fun catching up?” Now I know my sisters very well, so I noticed the fact that they were all trying not to laugh. I smell a setup. “What’re you signing me up, for now, Sian Saunders?” Jace walked over to take his sleeping daughter from her mother’s lap.
“What? What do you mean? We were discussing wedding plans.”
“I’m not dressing like a Disney character.” He’s so damn easy; sap.
“It’s their wedding.” Each time he came up with something that was her patented answer.
I took the seat next to my woman and pulled her onto my lap. The two of us watched as the rest of them fought it out. “Babe, do you want a themed wedding?” I cringe at the thought, but if she does, I can live with it, it’s only one day after all.
“I wasn’t thinking of it until I heard how traumatized the guys are by the thought.” Her mischievous grin did not bode well.
