Rubbing his hand over the fresh pain in his gut, he looked towards the window into the darkness beyond, ignoring the soft snores of the cop that had been left behind once Pete had left earlier. Pete had hung around keeping him company after the lady detective had left, and though they hadn’t talked about his past again, he’d appreciated it.

Now that the fog of confusion was clearing, he was beginning to see things a little clearer now and was very appreciative of the fact that even before they went digging into his past, his old friend had seemed to believe him innocent of these new accusations. He was coming to believe that Detective Sparks, too, had changed her opinion of him if the way she’d been acting before she left was any indication.

As much as his mind wandered, he tried not to think of Misty. The anger he felt each time he thought of her was not conducive to anything good, and he knew it was a good thing he was chained to this hospital bed or who knows what he would’ve done to her by now. A lot of things were starting to make sense now.

He’d had a talk with the doc when he came by to check on him a little while ago, and from what he can tell, she’d been dosing him with that shit for a good long while. Until now, he would’ve scoffed at the very idea that someone could control your emotions like that or, worst yet, get your body to perform at their whim. He’d heard of aphrodisiacs before sure, who hasn’t over the age of like twelve, but he’d never put much stock in such things.

Where the hell had she gotten it from? That was the one thing he kept stumbling into. According to the doc, the shit had been banned centuries ago, and when he tried looking it up, there was no one making it, not even a whiff of it being on the market either here or in the far-east. The only good news about this whole thing is that there were no lingering side effects, no damage to his organs, or any other permanent or life-threatening issues stemming from his prolonged use.

When offered, he’d been tempted to press charges, but right now, he was more interested in clearing his name than in anything else. He’d played around with the idea that the drug’s influence might have played a part in him sending Marissa those messages, but something in him revolted at the very idea. There’s no way that he could’ve done such a thing; could he?

If it turns out that he had, he would make Misty pay and pay dearly for making that mess a part of his life. As it stood, according to Pete anyway, if she were the one who’d been dosing him, she would be arrested anyway whether he pressed charges or not. His mind wasn’t in the right place to muddle through the machinations of that. He’d always been under the impression that one person had to bring charges against another for the courts to react, but apparently, there are some crimes that don’t need the middle man.

He could care less; he just wanted this drug out of his system and to get out of here so he could get to the bottom of who or what was trying to destroy him. Once he’d cleared his name, he just might leave town again, start over somewhere else for the third time. The thought made him damn near postal. He was tired of picking up stakes and leaving, running from his past. He’d come home to settle down in peace and lick his wounds, but that bitch had stolen that from him.

“Riley, I have to go to work; I have a ton of things to do today.” The sun wasn’t even up when Celia tried to roll out of bed. After laying there wide awake for the last few hours because her mind refused to shut off, she was ready to get to it already. She’d thought he was asleep when she tried sneaking out from under his limbs that he had thrown across her body, keeping her locked to his side, but as soon as she lifted his arm from around her middle, he pounced.

When Celia turned her head and opened her mouth to repeat herself, she found it filled with his tongue. She muttered a complaint around it but soon found herself giggling at his antics when he cupped her breast. The laughter turned into a moan when she felt his early morning wood pressed up against her ass.

“Lift your leg, let me in.” Celia did as she was told, and the moan became a sigh when he slid his extremely hard cock into her inch by inch until she was full. Riley started a deep, slow ride into her, holding her in place with the hand on her tit while playing around in her mouth with his tongue.
